The role
Black Ivy Media has a steady stream of real work to show: billboards going up, shopfronts transformed, vehicles branded, jackets and gifts delivered. We need someone to turn that work into content people stop for, and to keep our pages active every week.
This role owns what goes out. The Videographer handles bigger shoots and edits; you plan, capture day to day, write and post.
What you'll do
- Plan a weekly content calendar for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp Status and LinkedIn
- Capture photos and short videos on phone at the workshop, installs and client handovers
- Write captions, hooks and on-screen text in clear, direct English
- Make quick reels and graphics in CapCut and Canva
- Brief the Videographer on bigger pieces and pick footage from their shoots
- Reply to comments and messages, and pass sales enquiries to the sales team the same day
- Track what performs each month and suggest what to do more of
What you need
- A portfolio of social content you made, ideally for a business
- Strong written English and an eye for a good photo
- Confident with CapCut and Canva; Photoshop or Lightroom is a plus
- Comfortable on camera or directing others on camera
- Organised enough to post on schedule without being chased
- Willing to be on site at installs, sometimes early or outside Harare
No minimum education requirement — your work matters more than certificates.
What we provide
- A steady supply of real projects to film and photograph
- [CONTENT CREATOR PERKS]
- Work that goes on billboards and client campaigns, not just our own pages
